The school is located in southwest Bakersfield, and is just East of Gosford on Harris in the Silver Creek community (Across the street from Sam’s Club and Khols).

Coming South from 99 -

Take 99 South to White Lane (West). Turn Left (South) on Gosford. Turn Left (East) on Harris. Stay straight until you come to Crossway Baptist Church (Donald E. Suburu Elementary).

Coming North from 99 -

Take 99 North to Panama Lane (West). Turn Right (North) on Gosford. Turn Right (East) on Harris. Stay straight until you come to Crossway Baptist Church (Donald E. Suburu Elementary).

• Preaching...Why?

  Why is it so important to have preaching that focuses on the truth of the word of God rather than on the audience?

• While you cannot separate the two entirely, it might be best to say that a church that focuses on clearly explaining the truth of Scripture is giving the hearers what is most important rather than what is most desired!

• Crossway's Mission

  Crossway's mission is summarized with two thought.

• 1) We want to reach those who do not know our Lord and we want to communicate God's grace to them.

• 2) We want to reach those who are believers and we want to encourage them to grow in God's grace.
